Thank goodness I found some time to do some more infographics! This is one of the episodes that first inspired me to start making graphics based on each program. This episode shows what This American Life is best out- telling some really great stories while relating it to the big picture, as well as including some great statistics.

One note about the map graphic for this post: you have placed your #3 (University of Mississippi) in Louisiana. I wouldn’t have caught it had I not gone there!
#3 is definitely in Mississippi. Has the graphic been updated?
That’s pretty sad that you’d actually have to go to Ole Miss to know the difference between Mississippi and Louisiana. I think most people from the general region will know that University of Mississippi is actually *in* Mississippi. OTOH, I have no idea if the State where you’ve put the marker for University of Wisconsin is actually Wisconsin.
Cool! I noticed that the Penn State identifying marker isn’t really close to State College, PA, which I believe is more in the dead center of the state.
Yes, I grew up in State College and it is in Centre County, at the very center of Pennsylvania. You’ve put it in the Pittsburgh area.

I’m a graphic designer, infographics being my favorite part of my work. As I listened to this show, I kept thinking of how graphical this flow of money was–an infographic forming in my head as I listened.
